Exhaust Abatement Systems for Stationary Engines from 200 kW up to 40 MW

Combikat Anlage

«Combikat» is designed for gas turbines, diesel and gas engines as well as bio fuels in excess of 200 kW. It finds its application in power stations, incinerators, combined heat and power as well as other combustion processes.
There are three main functions::

1. Reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx)
2. Oxidation of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons (CO, HC)
3. Filtration of Soot Particulates (PM)

The filtration system reduces the soot particles to more than 90%. The nitrogen oxides (NOx) can be reduced up to 97% in stationary installations, depending on engine, exhaust back pressure and fuel. It is not necessary to use fuel with low sulfur content. CO and HC are transformed into harmless carbon dioxide and water.

A special particularity of combikat is the construction of the filter housing. It is provided with inlet doors and filter openings in order to be able to carry out service faster and easier and without disassembling.

Thanks to the modular construction of «combikat», it can be combined to incorporate the three stages of exhaust abatement as desired. This enables us to design a bespoke system for each stationary application to the customers needs.
